The man found in possession of Kenya Defence Forces' (KDF) property on Friday pleaded guilty before a Nakuru court.
Joseph Mwaura was allegedly found in possession of an assortment of 48 items belonging to KDF including an Ammo box and three new land rover Canopies on July 23 at Lanet Location in Nakuru County.
Mwaura pleaded guilty before Chief Magistrate Doreen Mulekyo and asked for cash bond.
According to police, Mwaura was found in his house in Lanet after the police received a tipoff that his house had Kenya defence forces items.
He told the police that the owner of the property lived next door but he had already fled before the police came.
The police photographed all the properties and they were taken to Walamu CID headquarters.
The Chief Magistrate instructed the prosecution to rewrite the charge sheet because it had typos.
“The particulars are all of typos errors as to make it possible for the accused to know easily what the charges are, the same is regarded contrary to section 5, article 89 of the constitution,” she said.
She ordered Mwaura to be remanded for the prosecution to amend the charges.
