The function that will kick off at 9am will be held in Lecture Hall 15 and is also meant to sensitise the students on the Students Organisation Maseno University (Somu) constitution.

In a notice to students, the acting SOMU president Antony Kamano said that the forum will also feature emerging issues that are vital to the lives of students in the university.

All students have been advised to attend the forum which will be graced by the Deputy Vice Chancellor in charge of academics and student affairs Prof Mary Kipsat and also in attendance will be the director Students Welfare Association Edward Olela.

Among other things to be discussed are the emerging academic and social issues affecting the students.

Moreover, it is anticipated that an online referendum on the amended constitution will be conducted by the institution through individual student portals and all students have been advised to log into their respective student portals to carry out the exercise.
