Nakuru Governor Kinuthia Mbugua has asked politicians in the county to stop spreading propaganda about his government and give his government time to serve the people.

Speaking at the Nakuru Central Business District (CBD) on Thursday, Mbugua accused some leaders of tarnishing the name of the county through false propaganda.

Mbugua claimed some politicians are using local media to spread false and malicious information about his government.

Governor Mbugua said it was unfortunate for some leaders to spend their time on the media spreading lies at the expense of providing services to the people.

The Nakuru County Chief said that he will not be moved by such malicious acts.

He said his agenda as the Nakuru governor is to transform the lives of the people through service delivery.

“I have no time for petty and malicious acts being purported by some politicians in this county,” he said.

Mbugua claimed that some politicians have started early campaigns with the aim of distracting the county government from offering services.

The Nakuru county boss asked political leaders who value development to support his government.

Mbugua said it is not yet time for campaigns and that leaders must devote their time to serve citizens.
