Kitutu Masaba MP Timothy Bosire has appealed to the Education Ministry to release Constituency Development Fund (CDF) so that needy students can benefit from bursary funds.
Mr Bosire has denied allegations that the funds had been disbursed by the government and pocketed by a few individuals, maintaining that no CDF money has been released.
He has urged the pubic to discard any information being peddled by a few individuals that MPs have misused the funds adding that his constituency is yet to receive the funds.
Bosire has faulted the national government for delaying to release the money saying many students who depend on the kitty are now stranded at home.
“We are asking the national government to release the money so that students can benefit and continue with their studies as usual,” he appealed.
Bosire asked parents to be patient as they wait for the money to be released.
