The motion moved by Nandi Hills MP Alfred Keter seeking to impeach Devolution Cabinet Secretary Ann Waiguru gained momentum after the Kitutu Masaba MP urged his Gusii counterparts to support the motion.

Waiguru has been on the spot over the alleged loss of Sh791 million from the National Youth Service kitty.

Speaking on Sunday at Gesima market, Timothy Bosire urged Gusii MPs to bury their political differences and support the motion for the good of the nation.

He said Waiguru’s ouster was timely if the Jubilee government was ready to fight corruption.

“I want to ask my colleagues to take Wauguru’s ouster motion seriously. We are all fighting corruption and let us face the reality. Our country is losing billions of money and NYS is at center stage. We must come together and be counted on the right hand of history,” he said.

Bosire urged President Kenyatta to persuade his embattled CS to step aside to allow independent investigations into the NYS saga if he was ready to tackle corruption.

“And I am assuring President Kenyatta that time has come for him to lead by example. Waiguru’s docket is tainting his governance. We will shame him as MPs if he continues being silent on the issue,” he added.

He told Gusii MPs to show support to the Nandi Hills legislator by showing that the issue was of national interest.

“I know they have been saying that Keter is an opposition mole and that should not be the case. This is a national issue and we have to show her the exit door,” said the ODM Treasurer.
