Nakuru Town East Member of Parliament David Gikaria has assured constituents that the current water shortage in the constituency will be addressed.

Gikaria said the water disconnections recently witnessed were being addressed and called for calm as the problem is fixed.

In his official Twitter page, the legislator said his office had received complaints regarding the disconnections and that the problem would be fixed soon.

The MP posted on Twitter: "It has been brought to my attention that water in county estates have been disconnected. I have spoken to the Nakuru Water and Sewerage Company management and they have promised to reconnect as we look forward to address the bills issues."

He said the inconvenience will be addressed ones and for all.

He spoke as constituents complained of the recent cut in water supplies to the parts of the constituency.
