Juja MP Francis has strongly opposed to the proposed ouster of majority leader in the National Assembly Aden Duale.

Speaking from his constituency on Wednesday when he met the clergy to discuss development matters in the area, Munyua said that divisions within leaders could be used by the enemy against the country.

Munyua said that terrorism is glaring at the country and the leaders cannot start blaming each other. Instead, he said, they should find a lasting solution to the threat.

He said that leaders should unite in one accord and support each other to strengthen the political ties which may be used by terrorists against them if they fight each other.

“Terrorism is a threat to our country and if the leaders start fighting, the terrorists may use that to get to our country. I urge all leaders to support each other and find a solution to their differences. We are not in competition but we all have one responsibility and it is towards the citizens of Kenya,” Munyua said.

He further urged the clergy to pray for the country since their support and prayers will contribute greatly to the safety and security of the nation.

Munyua asked the residents to embrace the Nyumba Kumi Initiative for a better and safer environment.
