Juja MP Francis Munyua has faulted NACADA boss John Mututho for failing to take the blame on the recent deaths caused by the consumption of illicit brews in Kiambu County.
The legislator said that Mututho has failed and should be replaced by a more responsible and effective person, as he is leading Kenyans to death rather than fighting the brews from the society.
According to Munyua, Mututho is only doing a Public Relations Job in office to cleanse his name, and he should get something else to do adding that he has always been the first one to arrive where there area such death incidences.
“This man waits until people die so that he can do a press briefing condemning the county governments of failing do his job. If you can’t tame illicit brewing then pack and go home we get a reputable person,” he said.
The MP, who was speaking in Juja town on Monday, said that he will push the county government to build rehabilitation centers in each sub-county, and also push a bill through parliament to ensure the MPs are allocated funds to construct the centrdes in their constituencies.
He called on youths to join the Juja reformed youth group, which he launched, to make sure those that abandon drug abuse and alcoholism are well catered for.
