Former Kibwezi Member of Parliament Kalembe Ndile has urged Machakos residents to support governor Alfred Mutua on his development agenda.
Addressing the public at Machakos town on Thursday, Ndile lauded governor Mutua’s development track record.
He said that Mutua has been outstanding across the country in his development zeal.
He stated that the governor needs full support of the people as he seeks to promote development.
“Governor Mutua through his development projects has shown that leadership is about serving the people, we should support him as he seeks to achieve more,” said Ndile.
The former Kibwezi MP urged residents to shun and ignore leaders who are allegedly spreading false propaganda about Mutua’s government.
“We know that not everyone is happy with the success achieved by Machakos County. Detractors are working hard to bring the Machakos government down.
Ndile urged governor Mutua to continue working with the national government for purposes of development.
“Governor Mutua should not listen to their petty politics but rather focus on empowering the lives of Machakos people,” he said.
Ndile on the same note asked petty politicians to keep of the county’s affairs and allow its leaders to work for the people.
