Thika MP Alice Ng’ang’a has refuted claims by the Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria that the legislators were paid to reject Dr. Monicah Juma as the nominee for the Secretary to the Cabinet post.
Ng’ang’a said that she has always stood on the support of the Jubilee government and President Uhuru Kenyatta but the recent nomination of Dr. Juma is a misled decision and that they cannot accept rude and incompetent people get into government departments.
She added that the President was misled by his advisors on the issue and that they will ensure she doesn’t get the seat as she is not fit to serve in the office adding that his current job has been making it hard for other leaders to get services from the interior ministry.
Speaking in Thika of Friday when the area leaders were arraigned for a public debate by one of the local language media stations, the lawmaker called on the President to chose another person who can do the job better and the parliament is ready to approve her.
Ng’ang’a has called on the Jubilee MPs to ensure they stand strong against their enemies and even make it easier for the President to deliver by approving competent leaders and officials who can serve the public better.
