Parents and pupils in Nyabiosi Primary School in Kisii county have a reason to smile after the school's facelift project got completed.
According to head of the construction committee Charles Tinega, the construction costed Kshs. 2.4 million and the work is now complete; they are now looking forward to pupils learning in a conducive environment come January.
The school which is located in at Birongo ward at Nyaribari Chache constituency was initially at a bad state until the area Member of Parliament Richard N. Tong'i promised the facelift saying that the work would involve the reconstruction of 11 classrooms whose roofs were leaking early this year and also the reconstruction of the floors which had cracked.
The completion of the project comes as a great relief to the school with has a capacity of over 800 pupils who were forced to learn in the open for the better part of third term.
