Business people from Kibera who attended training on customer care service are set to graduate in two weeks time.
The education classes are offered by Homeboyz Foundation.
Speaking during Thursday’s class which was attended by about 50 business people, both women and youths, Petronillah Aoko, disclosed that the students will graduate in two weeks time.
"Upon graduation, you will be given a certificate which will help you build your CV. This will help you to have something that you will produce somewhere when you are looking for employment,’’ said Aoko.
She also said the graduates will be given first priority in case business opportunities arise.
"We are sometimes given opportunities at companies and other institutions. In this case, we consider our students who graduated to apply before we give the chance to any other person," she added.
She said the certificates that are to be awarded will indicate that the person has skills in customer service provision and that they are as equally important as other certificates.
She urged students to be bold when looking for jobs since they will have a certificate which will boost their chances landing one.
