Mataara primary school in Gatundu North Sub-County in Kiambu county has benefited from a donation of 10 computers worth from an alumnus of the school, Morris Muthama.

Presenting the computers and accessories to the school head at the school in the school head office on Friday, Muthama promised to donate more computers to other neighbouring schools as well.

‘This donation is important because information and communication technology has become a necessity in everybody’s life. I was inspired to donate after remembering the hell I went through as I pursued my primary course here," he said.

Muthama also noted that digital education is a good investment for the youth. He urged the pupils to work hard and shun looming kid’s vices such as smoking, joining terrorism troops, taking bhang and alcohol for their dream to come true.

He additionally said that the donation was in line with the government policy of embracing technology by supplying laptops to all standard one pupils in the country.
