Kiambu Senator Kimani Wamatangi has called on county leaders to end wrangles and focus on development of the county.
Wamatangi said that leadership wrangles only drag behind the development of the county and thus Kiambu residents should rethink before politicking on every development in the county.
He said that he is neither supporting Governor William Kabogo nor the leaders who are against Kabogo but instead supports the interests of the county.
Wamatangi, who was speaking in Ruiru on Friday when he accompanied President Kenyatta to Zetech University, expressed his concerns with Jubilee Alliance Party (JAP) leaders in Kiambu who focus on political wrangle saying it destabilises the county in terms of economy.
On the same meeting, Ruiru MP Esther Gathogo urged the leaders to engage in the in-house dialogue rather than confusing the public.
She said that Kenyans are tired with political affiliations in the country and Kiambu should lead by example.
She noted that if the people have the right to choose whoever they want and they should not dwell on malicious leaders in the county.
