Soy sub-county in Uasin Gishu is set to commission a Sh76 million to complete the construction of bridges in the sub county in two weeks’ time.

Speaking in his office on Tuesday, Isaac Chirchir, Soy MCA revealed that the completed bridges, polytechnic, ECD center and dispensaries will be of benefit to the community.

“We will soon commission two bridges, two dispensary and a polytechnic and a modern ECD center, which will benefit the residents of so sub-county," said Chirchir.

Chirchir said that the commissioned dispensaries will be well equipped with state of the art equipment.

“We have already equipped Kipsangui and Chebosta dispensaries with qualified medical personnel who will offer quality services to our people,” said Chirchir.

He said that the bridges will link different sub counties in the region will improve transport in the county and influence growth.

Chirchir further urged the residents of the county to let their children get involved in development activities.

“Youths should be involved in economic developing activities such as joining NYS and businesses,” said Chirchir.
