University of Nairobi SONU chairman, Babu Owino has received negative criticism from across the divide.
This follows a letter dated July 13 in which the outspoken SONU chairman demands that the US president Barak Obama visit the institution during his tour to the country failure to which failure to which the situation at the university will not be palatable.
In the letter states that if Obama fails to visit at least 18 students will commit suicide while at least 31 ladies from the university will pee on a tree planted by the former Illinois senator when he visited the university back in 2006 when he was in the country.
This however has not gone well with everyone with students from Nakuru universities dismissing it as sheer nonsense and a high degree of immaturity on the part of the SONU chairman and the students who are likely to take part.
“Babu Owino is an example of the next generation of immaturity and disgrace to the University of Nairobi.” said Mutua one of the students.
Another funny statement came from John Wainaina who advised the students to go ahead die since Langata cemetery is not full and can accommodate them all.
Another student advised them to be ready for the catastrophe since the US does not negotiate with terrorists adding that Owino is Just a Younger Moses Kuria.
We can just wait to see what will be the end result of all this.
