Three people were on Tuesday arraigned before a Nakuru court for stealing farm produce.
Joseph Nduati, Julius Maina and Margret Wanjiru are alleged to have stolen 270kg of beans belonging to Barthlomew Mwangi between July 25 and 26th at Ngenda farm in Nakuru North District.
The three are said to have been in the company of other people not before the court.
According to prosecution, Mwangi who was a sleep at his house received a phone call from his neighbor telling him that there were people stealing at his farm. He called for help but by the people came to his aid the suspects had escaped.
Upon investigations and a help from neighbours and from other people, the three were arrested on July 27.
Appearing before Chief Magistrate Liz Gichae, they denied the charges and they were released on a Sh5,000 cash bail.
The case will be mentioned on August 4 and heard on August 15.
