The President and Founder of 'Start with One Kenya Organization' Bill Coble today paid a courtesy call to the Nakuru County Governor Kinuthia Mbugua. This is following a partnership on the use of UZima Filter that has been designed to remove all cysts, protozoa, and bacteria that cause Waterborne Diseases including Dysentery, Typhoid, and Cholera.
"The organization will partner with the county government in supplying the UZima Filters to as many households as possible," said Mr Coble.
Governor Mbugua on his part welcomed the initiative terming it as timely considering the recent cholera outbreaks in the county and the predicted El-Nino rains that are expected to start anytime from now.
"This couldn’t have come at a better time. This county has in the past dealt with very many clean water challenges that has resulted to disease outbreaks and even loss of lives. We hope to change this by adopting all possible avenues of having clean water,’ he said.
The organization has already donated 100 Uzima Filters to the county government which the governor is expected to forward to affected areas with more to be distributed soon.
