Gatundu North Uwezo Fund Coordinator Mary Wahugo has asked the youth to take advantage of the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) that will be held in Nairobi on Saturday.

Speaking in a meeting held by fund coordinators in Mang'u on Wednesday, Wahugo said the summit will bring together investment moguls from diverse industries who are likely to invest in Kenya.

"As youths we need to see the available opportunities that will come with this summit. The investments that may come in will create jobs for innovative youths," Wahugo said.

She also asked the coordinators to enlighten the uwezo fund groups under them of the importance of the summit and the impact it has on the business sector.

"Not many quite understand what this GES is all about, since much of the focus is now on President Obama's visit. Let us enlighten the young innovators and entrepreneurs in our villages about the summit," she added.

Wahugo noted that Uwezo Fund had bred many young entrepreneurs in the area who could showcase their entrepreneural skills to the world.
