Cord leader Raila Odinga has asked the Jubilee administration to account how the Eurobond cash was utilised or risk being voted out in the 2017 General Election.

Raila wondered why it had taken President Uhuru Kenyatta all this time to tell Kenyans how the funds were spend and which projects benefitted.

Speaking in Kisii town Friday evening on his way from Nyabururu Girls National School after attending the burial of St Joseph's Nyabigena Secondary School Principal Joseph Obare Oseko, the Cord leader scoffed at the Jubilee administration for trying to silence him on the Eurobond issue and declared he will not keep quiet until Uhuru tells Kenyans the truth about the money.

"When I raised the red flag over the National Youth Service scandal, they called me names, but finally I was proved right when the then Devolution Cabinet Secretary Anne Waiguru confirmed that the funds had been lost," stated Raila.

Just like the NYS scandal, Raila said the Eurobond saga will also come out, however long it will take for Kenyans to know the truth.

He clarified that he is not a madman to wake up one morning and imagine out of the blues that state funds in a given public coffer have been misappropriated but he does it with passion after gathering enough evidence on the issue at hand.
