Residents of Lapland village in Naivasha are up in arms after a suspected leopards killed ten cattle in the area on Sunday night.
The residents on Monday blamed Kenya wildlife Service (KWS) for failing to contain the animals and threatened to kill them to avenge their losses.
Joseph Lokruto, a resident said that the animals, believed to be from the Hell's Gate park, attacked the village on Sunday night killing the animals.
He added that they are living in fear because of wild animals which continuosly roam the village.
The incident comes barely two days after an alert was raised by environmetalists over increased cases of human-wildlife conflict in the area.
The environmentalist attributed the crisis to increased encroachnent of the animals habitat by humans.
