Angry residents from Molo Sub-County on Thursday morning raided a chang'aa den and poured the illicit brew after one of the villagers in the area died after consuming the poisonous liquor.
The angry resident blamed local police and provincial administrators for not controlling the consumption ofalcohol in the area. Samson Thiari, a resident, said that illicit brew dens were all over but that the police were just relaxed in their as citizens continued to suffer.
"Police and local administrators are just relaxed in their stations as illicit brew continues to boom in the area," lamented Thiari.
Winnie Wanjiru, another resident said that her sons had become addicts. She therefore called on the Nakuru governor Kinuthia Mbugua to close up all illicit brew dens so that development can be realised in the area.
