Nakuru West Member of Parliament Samuel Arama has said he is annoyed with empty voter registration centers in most parts of his constituency.
He said registration clerks in most centers are sitting idle for lack of people to register.
Arama called on his constituents to take the voter registration exercise seriously and turn out in large numbers.
He said the IEBC clerks were being paid to work and not sit idle, and called on Nakuru West residents to make them work by coming to be registered.
Speaking Tuesday after inspecting several registration centers in his constituency, Arama said it will be his joy to see the centers crowded with people.
“I am not happy with what I am seeing here in Nakuru West because registration centers are empty and people are just roaming around by they can't take time to register,” said Arama.
Arama added that he will soon move from house to house if people don’t come out to register.
“Soon I will move from door to door asking everybody to show me their voters card and I will be personally taking those who have not registered to the registration center”.
