Speaking Monday in Nakuru, Arama stated it would only be wise to send the entire bench home should graft allegations facing Justice Philip Tunoi be confirmed.

Arama added that Kenyans had lost trust in the Supreme Court which is the highest court in the land, and recommended an overhaul so that a new bench beyond reproach could be constituted, now that the country is gearing up for a general election in 2017.

The first time lawmaker also took a swipe at Chief Justice Willy Mutunga for allegedly keeping mum even after he received complaints against justice Tunoi.

Tunoi is alleged to have received Sh2oo million from Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero so that he could determine the outcome of an election petition seeking to unseat him as governor.
