Young boda boda operators in Kiamaina ward have been challenged to use part of the money they make to further their studies.
Aspiring MCA from the area Titus Muriuki said a number of boda boda riders are either primary or high school leavers who resorted to doing the boda boda business due to lack of fees to further their studies.
"I know most of you are still young and I want to advise you to consider progressing with your studies by using part of the money you get daily," said Muriuki.
He added; "You will not have the energy to ride that boda boda all the years and therefore you need something else to do and that can only be achieved through education."
Muriuki spoke on Sunday at the Maili Sita trading center when he donated reflector jackets to boda bodas.
He also called on the riders to desist from sexual immorality and drug abuse if they want to live longer.
"Drugs and immorality will ruin your lives and the best thing for you to do is to keep off drugs and sexual immorality," he said.
