The County Assembly of Nyamira has for a second time now asked governor John Nyagarama to give a report by the special committee he constituted to investigate the various development projects initiated by the county government.
The committee was constituted by the governor early this year to investigate and give a full report on the projects that had been undertaken by the county government ministries.
County Assembly Minority Leader Jackson Mogusu has raised concern why the governor has not yet released the findings by the committee which was handed over to him a long time ago.
“The governor received the report months ago but he has kept it in his office and the County Assembly knows nothing about it's content,” he said.
County Assembly House Business Committee chair Peter Maroro said that he asked County Secretary Erick Aori to inform him of the report contents, he told him that it was the responsibility of the County Assembly speaker to ask for the report from the governor.
The speaker however said that the matter will be looked into next week.
