Countries have gone to war for the simple reason that someone felt they couldn't stoop as 'low' to say it.

Homes have been broken because a certain person thought they were degrading themselves if they uttered it.

As a matter of fact, events have been cancelled and century long relationships shattered for the same reason.

Lives have been lost yet others saved thanks to this word, the 'sorry' word, though short, it's impact or lack thereof is wide and long term.

Saying it is a choice, but not saying it may be too costly to bear.

Take, for instance, the guy that loses his job for coming in late but won't admit he was sorry so doesn't apologise to the boss?

The person that is late for dinner (that took hours to prepare) yet won't say sorry, wrecking a relationship?

I could go on and on till Kingdom come but, would you rather seal your lips and otherwise justify yourself whilst breaking the walls or sacrifice your ego and mend fences leading to budding relationships?

Are you sorry? Will you say sorry? Will you be the bigger person and say 'SORRY' (without any ...buts?) To be or not to be? That's the question.
