Chairman of the Nakuru County Land Management Board Prengei Victor Maritim has assured residents that all grabbed land will be reclaimed and returned to their rightful owners.
Speaking in Nakuru, Prengei, however, urged residents with complaints in regard to grabbed land to ensure they write letters which will be addressed to the office in this regard.
He said the letter has to be supported with documents that will act as assurance that the grabbed land either belonged to an individual or belonged to the government.
According to him, the board will then resolve the issue from that point and the land will be returned to its legal owner.
"My board will deal with all cases of grabbed land , be it an individual’s land or public land in Nakuru county. However, a written complaint must be lodged in our offices which should have all the relevant documents," Prengei said Friday.
The board was in inaugurated in May last year by Governor Kinuthia Mbugua.
Some of the board members include Frank Kimbelekenya (secretary), Dorothy Aswani, Rose Githua Reuben Korir and Obadiah Chege.
