Maseno bodaboda operators in Maseno have called on the county government to build sheds for them.

They raised this concern on Monday saying they have been waiting year now yet the county government has done nothing to address the issue.

The riders said the county government promised tom build the sheds last year but to date no sheds have been constructed.

They want the county government to address the issue swiftly.

“The government should take responsibility to ensure that we have a shade. They should have pity on us for we suffer a lot in the scorching sun and the rains which can be an health hazard for us.” said George Omondi the chairman of the operators in Maseno.

Recently, the county government announced that it had budgeted Sh21 million for building bodaboda sheds in the seven sub counties.
