Uasin Gishu government is determined to improve structures used by small businessmen in the county.

Governor Jackson Mandago Tuesday said his government has built ultra modern kiosks to be used by small scale businessmen for their business to prosper. 

"We have built 200 modern kiosks and additional 23 markets which are ready for use and all hawkers are supposed to use them instead of displaying their goods in the streets," he said. 

He added that they have also set aside Sh100 million for the construction of a modern market, which will be completed at the end of 2016.
