Kitutu Masaba Member of Parliament Timothy Bosire has refuted recent claims that he and other Members of Parliament from the county of Nyamira have agreed that they will work together with County Governor John Nyagarama.
Speaking when he visited various schools in his constituency on Tuesday, Bosire said that there has not been any meeting with Governor Nyagarama to get to such an agreement.
He said such an agreement can only be arrived at after the leaders are informed on know the county has been spending its monies, and only when the money that has been lost will be returned to the county government to be used in helping the common 'mwananchi'.
The legislator said that county residents are not receiving services as they should, and that no development so far been made since the start of the county governments system in the country due to the poor leadership that is in Nyamira County.
During the visit to the schools, the legislator gave Sh500,000 to Mokwerera Secondary school to help them in building classes after he had earlier in the year given them another half a million shillings to help them on the same.
He also gave Sh300,000 shillings to help build toilets.
