Uasin Gishu County residents have been urged to avail themselves for free ear check-up and training.
Speaking in his office on Wednesday, director of Medical Services at Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital Dr Wilson Aruasa said the practice will be conducted by hospital staff and three other doctors from the US.
"The operation dubbed Operation Ear Drop is meant to provide free screening and operation of an infected ear,"he said.
The director said the exercise started on Wednesday and will run until December 18.
"I urge all Uasin Gishu residents with ear problems to show up for examination and receive free treatment," he said.
He told residents to take advantage and be treated free of charge because after December 18, they will pay for the services.
