Motorists in Kisumu County have raised a red flag over increased number of accidents and careless riding of motorcycles and “tuktuks” in the lake side city.
The motorists said most of the riders never went to driving schools therefore having difficulties in knowing traffic laws.
“Every time it happened, police investigation showed that the riders were on the wrong side,” Bob Otieno said.
Jared who works as a “tuktuk” rider said in an interview that they are not to be blamed for the problems.
He admitted he doesn’t own a driving license.
“lack of proper jobs have made most youths to turn to “bodaboda” business,” Jared said.
