The Catholic Diocese of Nakuru has arranged a pilgrimage to Italy, France and Portugal from May 30 to June 12, 2016.
It is a pilgrimage that according to the Bishop Rt Rev Maurice Muhatia Makumba, is open to all Catholics under the Diocese of Nakuru.
He also encouraged as many of the faithful as possible to undertake the pilgrimage.
According to a programme of the pilgrimage that has already been released, the cost is Sh280,00 per person sharing a twin room and those planning to stay in a single room are required to pay a supplement of Sh50,000.
However, bookings for the registration can only be done with a deposit of Sh80,000 and passport details and the balance of payment and application of visas should be done by April 30, 2016.
The cost is inclusive of the return air ticket, hotel accommodation on half board basis ( breakfast and dinner daily) , transport throughout Italy / Portugal / France, airport taxes, visa fee and travel Insurance among other things.
However, laundry, lunch, any drinks during meals and anything of a personal nature are excluded from the cost.
