A section of MPs from Central Rift have expressed their support for the Jubilee Party of Kenya set to be launched in March.
JPK is the proposed political vehicle on which President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto will seek re-election in the 2017 polls.
Led by Kuresoi North MP Moses Cheboi, the leaders drummed up support for the party terming it a favourable vehicle to win 2017 elections.
He maintained that the unity between Uhuru and Ruto has united Kenyans and promoted peaceful co-existence in the country.
"I have made a decision to vote for two people, that is President Uhuru and the DP William Ruto, I don't recognise the rest," said Cheboi.
The Kuresoi North MP who was voted in on a Kanu ticket in the March 4, 2013 elections asked Kenyans to maintain peace adding that more investors were turning up hence boosting the country’s economy.
Similar sentiments were expressed by Kipkelion East MP Joseph Limo and his Molo counterpart Jacob Macharia who lashed out at the Cord coalition leaders in their recent claims that the government was planning to rig the 2017 general election in order to remain in power.
"If we will unite , we will achieve our goals, let's unite and give Jubilee our votes," said Limo.
The MPs termed Cord leader Raila Odinga as a regular complainer who plays dirty politics while making wild and outrageous remarks.
The leaders addressed residents of Sitoito on Saturday during the presentation of a school bus for Sitoito secondary.
