Nakuru youth have a chance of winning Sh100,000 in an essay competition organised by the International Youth Network Against Corruption.

The contest dubbed, Change Mentality Campaign 2016, requires the writers aged between aged between 18 to 35 years, to focus on corruption and bad governance. 

The articles should focus on constraints in the fight against corruption, measures put in place to curb graft in the country.

According to the IYNAC website, the goal of the competition is to capture, feature, and learn from the voices of youth on how to deal with the challenge of corruption in their countries.

While the winner takes home Sh100,000, the second, third, fourth and fifth finishers will take home monetary prizes. 

The first three winners will also be sponsored to attend the three major IYNAC conferences, while the top ten winner entrants will be sponsored to attend one conference, while all entrants will be sponsored to attend IYNAC conferences at half the conference cost.

The deadline for submitting entries is March 31, 2016 by 2359hrs.

Winners will be announced on May 2.
