The City Hall has suspended its newly appointed director of communications, Noela Musundi, just a week after reporting to work.
According to an informant at the City Hall, Musundi was sent on compulsory leave, a fact that has been attributed to a chain of supremacy battles between Cord and Jubilee.
Musundi was appointed to replace Walter Mong'are whose dismissal is yet to be known. However, unconfirmed reports alleged that Mongare was sacked after falling out with Governor Kidero.
On the better part of Tuesday afternoon, social media platforms were awash with claims that a Bungoma based politician telephoned Kidero and quizzed why he had appointed a Jubilee mole as his communications director.
Musundi, however, discarded the reports of being suspended stating she was just attending to her sick child at Aga Khan University Hospital.
