Residents of Mitimingi location of Elementaita Ward got a reprieve following the completion of Tangi Tano dispensary that is expected to improve health services in the area.

The residents have been travelling for over 18km to access medical services at Kiptangwany.

Besides the Tangi Tano dispensary, the county government is also constructing the Oldonyo-Buru dispensary and Ole Sultan Polytechnic.

As a result, Governor Kinuthia Mbugua has directed the County Public Service Board to hasten the hiring of medical staff, in an effort to ensure that all health facilities in the county have sufficient manpower.

The area MCA Moses Ndungu said: “These developments by the county government are a big boost of hope to an area that has been marginalized for a long time”.
