Doctors countrywide have been told to put on their uniform and while on duty.
The medical practitioners will also be required to put on identification badges with their names, photos and registration numbers indicated.
The decision was made on Tuesday by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentist Board to help members of the public distinguish between the real doctors and the quacks.
The board chief executive officer, Daniel Yumbwa said that the board will soon carry out countrywide inspections to ensure all medical practitioners attending to patients are licensed as well as the clinics they are operating in.
