Deputy President William Ruto has warned Kenyans against gambling with their lives by making decisions that will throw them in the opposition and political cold.
The DP said he will not allow people of Rift Valley to be divided by some leaders with selfish interests.
“Some people think we are fools that we can abandon what we have in hand and go to the opposition. I urge you to make wise decisions,” said Mr Ruto, adding that the main aim of those championing opposition to the Jubilee Party is to take the people of the region to opposition Cord.
Mr Ruto noted that as the highest ranking political leader in the region, he will not allow individuals without any agenda or plan for the people to mislead them.
The DP who was accompanied by Aaron Cheruiyot, the Jubilee candidate in the Kericho Senatorial by-election slated for March 7.
He was speaking during a public rally at Moi Kipsitet Girls Secondary School, Kericho County on Saturday.
