There was drama in Shabab on Monday evening when two boda boda operators fought over a female customer.
Trouble began when the lady beckoned one of the operators to go and pick her, only for the other colleague to also rush for her.
It is then that one of them ostensibly vexed by his colleague's arrival alighted from his motorcycle and shoved off his colleague, sending him sprawling on the road.
The scuffle attracted other boda boda operators who separated the duo and branded them childish.
The lady clearly terrified by the events, later opted for a different operator leaving the two with an egg on their face.
"They always fight over customers. They say times are hard and customers are few so they have to scramble over them,"said James Mwaniki, a boda boda mechanic who witnessed the episode.
