The Kenya Red Cross Egerton Chapter in collaboration with other stakeholders will on Saturday undertake a clean up in Njoro town and it environs under the theme; My Environment My Responsibility.
The morning exercise expected to start at 9 am, will be spearheaded by Miss Egerton, Kendi Wanene, alongside Miss Red Cross 1st runners up.
Among key partners involved in the event include, Drawing Dreams initiative, Rotract Club Egerton University, The Egerton University Students fro International Affairs, Egerton University Nutrition and Dietetics Students Association, Statistics Analysis Bureau of Egerton University, Veterinary Medicine and Surgery Students Associations and Egerton University Economics Students Association.
The partnership brings together students as role models in efforts towards environmental conservation.
Charges are Sh100, which is aimed at facilitating the processing of certificates which will be awarded later.
