Gatundu North Member of Parliament Francis Kigo Njenga has said that the lack of teamwork and constant political rows between politicians and wananchi contributes to poor development in Kiambu county.
Addressing the press from his Kamwangi office on Monday, Kigo urged Kiambu residents to embrace unity and work with their elected leaders in all community development projects if the county is to achieve meaningful progress.
He observed that only a collaborative approach could offer a solution to the county's pertinent issues citing that the county had the potential to exploit its resources for development projects for all residents.
"Let us focus on uniting Kiambu people rather than putting them under election pressures all the time," he said.
Kigo noted that the county infrastructure, health and security sectors were doing well. He however noted that the county leadership should do more with regards to engaging the national legislators before laying some developments to reduce, county-national government rows.
