North Mugirango Member of Parliament Charles Geni has told his rivals to stop spreading divisive politics and to instead to wait for next year's general elections to try their luck.

Speaking in Nyairanga ELCK Secondary School where he was donating a bus to the school bought from the CDF kitty, Geni took issue with some section of politicians in the area who he accused of meddling propaganda that is unsubstantiated aimed at tainting his reputation a head of 2017.

He asked the residents to avoid them and instead work with him in order to realize development, saying the people fighting him politically had no mandate on the ground, and that they are pleasing their 'masters' and that they are not after the betterment of the residents. 

Geni challenged them to form a forum where he said he's ready to face them and counter them with issues.

He further noted that they are only seen when he is not in the constituency, and they are after attacking him politically in funeral functions. 

Geni cleared fees balances of orphaned students at the school worth over a half a million after issuing cheques of over Sh2.5 million to other institutions ealier.

More than two hundred boda boda operators also received their driving licences and he promised to sponsor another batch of 400 youths for a driving course. 

He said seven more schools would receive buses before the end of the year.
