Borabu member of national assembly, Ben Momanyi, has challenged leaders to end wrangles at Keroka Market as one of the helping traders.
Momanyi, who was speaking on Sunday at the market, urged the Kitutu Masaba MP, Timothy Bosire, and his counterpart, Nyaribari Masaba member of national assembly, Elijah Moindi, to come together and discuss the future of the market.
''I urge my colleagues from both constituencies to come together and solve this matter that generates here at Keroka so that traders can have peace of mind while doing their business,'' he said.
He also urged governors from Kisii and Nyamira counties to join in the discussion and come up with a better solution.
''I also urge two governors and other stakeholders to come together in solving this problem we don’t want to hear this wrangles every day as we are losing business,'' added Momanyi.
Elijah Moindi said that they have been having discussions of the same and they had a better solution about the market but what is happening is what they don’t know.
''My brother Ben Momanyi, we discussed this and we have a better conclusion about the management of this market, but it seems that there are some individuals who are are behind these problems,'' said Moindi.
There have been land disputes at Keroka between who needs to manage the market between the Kisii County and Nyamira Ccounty since last year.
