If you have ever visited Machakos town, you will notice a tremendous change in the state of the roads.
If you are travelling from Nairobi, the road is very smooth with flowers planted on both sides. It starts from the 'Welcome to Machakos county' sign post near Mlolongo.
From Makutano junction, the smooth road is fitted with huge street lights all the way to Machakos town.
The road joining Devki junction in Athi river to Namanga road was also tarmacked.
While addressing ministers in his county assembly, Machakos governor said that he is committed to constructing roads in his county.
The Maendeleo Chap Chap leader stressed that he is pro-development and his haters should get ashamed by the visible development projects that he is initiating in the country.
Other roads that are being upgraded in the county include Katangi-Matuu road, Syokimau-Katani road, Kwandeni-Masinga road and repairs are also being done on the Makutano-Kathimani road.
Let us give it to him, he scores high in road upgrade.
