Nakuru Governor Kinuthia Mbugua has rubbished rumours that he was involved in an accident and assured his supporters that he is safe.
Reacting to speculations on Tuesday that he and his delegation were involved in an accident from Naivasha, Mbugua said the information was false and misleading, and maintained that neither himself nor any member of his government had been involved in an accident.
He added that their travel to Naivasha was successful albeit busy, as they engaged in various development based meetings.
He at the same time thanked his residents for their overwhelming concern, adding that he was gearing forward to the fourth leg of his Gavana Mtaani initiative which kicked off in Njoro Wednesday.
Earlier in the day, social media was awash with information that Mbugua and other county CeCs had been involved in an accident.
