Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has asked Cord leader Raila Odinga to support him during next year's general elections to be held in August.
He said that Cord leader Raila Odinga has tried several times to assend to power but failed and now he (Raila) should pass the ball to him.
Kalonzo is not new to politics of Kenya and he knows very well that the tyranny of numbers is a threat to his rise to to state house.
With Jubilee party banking on the large number of voters in central and Rift valley, it will therefore be a long climb for Wiper leader if Cord does not rally behind him.
Cord's strongholds include Coast, Nyanza, Western and partly Nairobi.
This leaves Wiper leader with very little to hold onto. As the elections are drawing near, leaders are urging their people to register in large numbers in a bid to enjoy tyranny of numbers which is now the hallmark of Kenyan politics.
