Cord co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka has reiterated opposition’s assertion that they will not accept rigged elections in 2017.
The Wiper leader specifically addressed the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) and the ruling Jubilee coalition, saying Kenyans will not accept their victory to be stolen again in the coming election.
Kalonzo said as a coalition they will be more vigilant in 2017 to avoid manipulation of results.
“IEBC and Jubilee, this time round, Kenyans will not accept a stolen election, this time round, I said this they complained I am preparing people for war, there is nothing as costly as democracy,” he said.
He claimed BVR kits are been used in the registration of youth who are being contracted by the National Youth Service (NYS) as a plan by the Jubilee coalition to rig 2017 elections.
“In Nairobi, NYS is using BVR kits during the recruitment of youth and later register them as voters without their knowledge nor consent,” he claimed.
Kalonzo made the remarks while presiding over a funds drive in aid of 150 women groups under the NUU SACCO in Nuu township, Mwingi central constituency today.
