Kenya National Union of Teachers (Knut) Kisii Central branch Executive Secretary Shem Nyaundi has warned candidates sitting for this year's Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) exams from the area against exam cheating.
He reminded candidates that exam malpractices may lead to cancellation of their final results by the Kenya National Examinations Council (Knec).
Nyaundi encouraged the candidates that they will excel in their final exam despite the five-weeks long teachers' strike that paralysed learning in September this year.
"I am optimistic that our candidates will post good results despite the teachers' industrial strike which interrupted learning and exam preparation process," he said.
He advised candidates not to be misled by those claiming to be having exam leakages.
